Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise ServiceNow solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in ServiceNow modules, strong architectural skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. You will partner with stakeholders across IT and business units to deliver high‑quality ServiceNow implementations that drive automation, efficiency, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Design & Architecture:
    • Define and own the ServiceNow architecture roadmap aligned with enterprise standards.
    • Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and other ServiceNow modules.
    • Ensure adherence to best practices, platform governance, and performance optimization.
  • Implementation & Delivery:
    • Lead technical design sessions and provide guidance to development teams.
    • Oversee configuration, customization, and integration of ServiceNow with third‑party systems.
    • Establish reusable patterns, templates, and frameworks for ServiceNow development.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Communicate architectural decisions, trade‑offs, and impact clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Governance & Compliance:
    • Implement security best practices, including role‑based access control (RBAC), data protection, and audit compliance.
    • Maintain platform health through proactive monitoring, upgrades, and performance tuning.
  • Leadership & Mentorship:
    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to ServiceNow developers and administrators.
    • Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the ServiceNow ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

Desired skills

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) or Security Operations.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration patterns.
  • Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.

Experience

  • 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in ServiceNow architecture and development.
  • Proven expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and custom applications.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, APIs) and external systems.
  • Familiarity with CMDB design, Discovery, and Event Management.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise IT service management principles.
  • Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow upgrades, performance tuning, and instance security.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
