This role is ideal for someone with deep MERN stack expertise and a strong background in front-end development. You’ll collaborate closely with UX designers and leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and enhance code quality.

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance front-end applications using React.js and TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Collaborate with UX designers to translate wireframes and prototypes—especially from Figma—into functional, elegant user interfaces.
• Integrate seamlessly with back-end services built on Node.js and Express, and manage data via MongoDB.
• Apply prompt engineering techniques using tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance development speed and code quality.
• Optimise applications for performance, accessibility, and scalability.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and deployment processes.
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive user experiences.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Front-End Developer, with a strong focus on React.js.
• Proven experience building full-stack applications using the MERN stack.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript is essential.
• Experience working with UX designers and importing wireframes from Figma.
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot).
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end workflows.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git version control, and agile development practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote working environment.

• Experience in the insurance industry or familiarity with insurance-related platforms and workflows.
• Exposure to Redux, Next.js, or other modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress.
