Overview

Expleo is seeking a strategic and commercially driven Account Manager to join our growing team in Dublin. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Director of Delivery & Operations. You will act as the key interface between Expleo and our clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery, nurturing long-term relationships, and driving business growth. 

 

As a member of the senior management team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial direction of the business, experience in the Retail sector would be beneficial 

Responsibilities

Client Management 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, including C-Suite executives. 
  • Lead client engagements, ensuring delivery aligns with agreed terms and expectations. 
  • Drive strategic relationships in collaboration with Market Directors. 
  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks associated with client engagements and delivery. 
  • Conduct regular client review meetings and provide tailored reporting. 
  • Client Satisfaction: Implementing feedback mechanisms to ensure continuous improvement in client satisfaction. 

 

Technical Delivery Management 

  • Oversee the full delivery lifecycle across multiple programmes across all our service lines (Project Management, Business Analysis, Software Dev & QA). 
  • Ability to understand & contribute to the planning of enterprise level programmes 
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the delivery on client sites 
  • Challenge internal stakeholders to contribute to improvements in the overall effectiveness of the delivery process 
  • Ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement in service delivery. 
  • Monitor project performance, ensuring deliverables meet scope, time, and quality standards. 
  • Conduct quality reviews and contribute to the development of new service offerings. 
  • Contract Management 

 

People Management 

  • Lead and support onshore, offshore, and nearshore delivery teams. 
  • Lead and support multiple service lines – Project Management, Business Analysis, Software Dev & QA 
  • Collaborate with HR and Resource Management to ensure optimal staffing and planning. 
  • Maintain accurate records in resource planning systems  
  • Support career development and rotation planning for consultants. 

 

Commercial Support 

  • Manage the creation and presentation of client proposals and RFP responses. 
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities within existing accounts. 
  • Provide strategic input into sales processes and marketing campaigns. 
  • Ensure legal and commercial compliance across all engagements. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance service offerings and drive innovation. 

Essential skills

  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen. 
  • Ability to spot revenue growth opportunities and drive these from opportunity to close 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. 
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed environment. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and reporting capabilities. 
  • Collaborative team player who contributes positively to Expleo’s culture. 

Experience

  • 15+ years in account management or client delivery roles. 
  • Experience running large programmes and an ability to manage projects within strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proven track record of managing complex client relationships and growing revenue. 
  • Experience working with C-Suite stakeholders and navigating enterprise environments. 
  • Strong understanding of consultancy services and legal frameworks.
