We are seeking talented Testing Consultants (QA Analysts) with a proven track record in testing Fineos insurance platforms, the Test Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing tests in a Fineos ecosystem. As a member of a highly collaborative, dynamic test team, the Test Analyst will be asked to ensure the quality of the team’s output is of a consistently high standard.

• Document and execute high quality test plans for the Fineos platform functional areas under custom development, configuration and test
• Analyse complex requirements and review functional and end to end acceptance criteria to ensure they are for fit for purpose, testable and can have tests developed to explicitly test and guide acceptance
• Create comprehensive and well defined test scripts that are traceable back to requirements
• Execution of functional, regression and integration test scripts
• Participate in defect triage discussions and question development perception of severity
• Work as part of a scrum team 
• Contribute to management reporting including appropriate test metrics on planning, defects and execution.
• Ensure regression testing is performed in a manner that recognizes the risks of introducing defects into the environment
• Escalate risks and issues to the appropriate level to ensure resolution

Essential: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience 
• ISTQB Foundation 
• Hands on experience in testing the Fineos platform 

Desirable:

• Additional course or certification in Quality Assurance 

• Excellent client-facing skills
• People management skills - introducing and building ways in which people can learn from each other, encouraging mentoring and the transfer of knowledge by designing and delivering learning interventions
• Team work and emotional intelligence
• Good self-management – continuous performance is both a goal and a mind-set

• Hands on experience in testing the Fineos platform 

• 2 to 4 years hands on experience having tested the Risk claims module of Fineos Insurance Platform
• Comfortable with running regression tests
• Comfortable with E2E Testing, UAT support
• Defect reporting (JIRA/ Azure / Test rail or other)
• Proven Experience working in Life/Pensions industry essential
