We are looking for a highly experienced Programme Architect to join our consultancy team. With a strong background in retail, you will have been the lead architect on multiple ePOS implementations in global enterprise environments.  

• Define and deliver an architectural roadmap to align multiple retail ePOS solutions (e.g. Flooid, GK) into a single cohesive programme 

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the Programme Director, providing technical oversight and reporting at programme level 

• Govern architecture practices, ensuring alignment with long-term business and technology objectives, and technical implementation 

• Provide technical leader ship across a large software programme, collaborating with architects and engineering teams to ensure high quality implementation and technical alignment with strategic solution 

• Translate complex business needs into technical solutions 

• Engage with 3rd party vendors to ensure technical alignment 

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies and regulatory requirements 

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject 

• Certified in a relevant Enterprise Architecture framework e.g. TOGAF 

• Enterprise experience implementing retail business processes and ePOS systems e.g. Flooid, GK 

• Proven experience of managing and delivering complex technology solutions, including APIs, middleware, integrations and data management 

• Able to clearly and persuasively present complex information to senior stakeholders (including C-Suite), effectively influencing decisions and strategic direction 

• Strong background in 3rd party vendor management and contract negotiations 

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment 

• Previous experience managing technical teams, including architects 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders

• Proven experience in at least two recent end-to-end ePOS system implementations.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior architecture role 

• 15+ years of experience in IT, with a background in software development and solution architecture 

• Experience in retail solutions implementing ePOS systems 

• Strong expertise in architecture frameworks like TOGAF
