We are looking for a highly experienced Solution Architect to join our consultancy team. With experience in the Insurance or Financial services, you will partner with a prestigious global Insurer to design and oversee the implementation of a data platform.
This role demands a deep understanding of data engineering, data management, Azure cloud & Data services, and expertise with Fabric/ Power BI.

• Design and oversee the implementation of an enterprise reporting platform for a global Insurer
• Design and oversee the implementation of data management strategies to support large-scale operations across multiple data sources and systems
• Design data pipelines for real-time and batch data processing
• Architect and design scalable technical solutions ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategy
• Lead technical discussions with stakeholders, including internal engineering teams, business units, and 3rd party vendors, translating business needs into technical solutions and providing technical advice
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define the technical roadmap, implement solutions and resolve complex technical issues
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the programme, ensuring adherence to architecture and standards
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies and regulatory requirements.

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Certified in a relevant Enterprise Architecture framework e.g. TOGAF
• Data certifications an advantage

• Cloud and data architecture on Azure
• Data engineering and integration (ETL, data streaming and API integrations)
• BI and Data Visualisation using Tableau and PowerBI
• Proven experience of managing and delivering complex technology solutions
• Strong understanding of retail business processes and systems
• Able to clearly and persuasively present complex information to senior stakeholders, effectively influencing decisions and strategic direction
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders

• 5+ years of experience in a solution architecture role
• 15+ years of experience in IT, with a background in data engineering and architecture
• Experience in retail and/or franchise solutions with strong understanding of retail business processes and systems
• Strong expertise in architecture frameworks like TOGAF
