We are seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to be the Technical Lead in our growing team. You will take technical ownership of a newly formed global Platform Engineering team, designing, building and maintaining cloud infrastructure ensuring scalability, security, and high availability of platforms.

• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior, mid-level and senior engineers.
• Architecture & Design: Design scalable and resilient platform architectures aligned with business needs.
• Performance Optimization: Improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency through proactive optimization.
• Tooling & Process Improvement: Evaluate and introduce new DevOps tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, security, and supervise teams to align platform goals with business objectives.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible or Pulumi.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Build and manage deployment pipelines using ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Cloud Management: Deploy and maintain cloud services on AWS / GCP / Azure with a focus on security, scalability, and cost optimization.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Develop and manage OpenShift stacks, Kubernetes clusters, Docker containers, and Helm charts.
• Monitoring & Observability: Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana and ElasticSearch.
• Automation & Scripting: Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational tasks using Bash, Python, Go & Groovy
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, including IAM policies, network security, and compliance automation.
• Incident Management & Troubleshooting: Respond to and mitigate production incidents, conducting post-mortems and improving system reliability.

• Third level qualification in Computer Science/IT/Software Engineering

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering, with 3+ years technical leadership of teams. 

• Must have enterprise experience using OpenShift. 

• Deep expertise in cloud architecture & automation (AWS, GCP, or Azure). 

• Strong experience creating highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure designs. 

• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes internals, operators, service meshes, and multi-cluster management. 

• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments. 

• Experience in designing and implementing observability and incident response frameworks. 

• Ability to mentor and coach junior engineers while advocating best practices. 

• Experience in cost optimization and FinOps strategies for cloud infrastructure.
